Newsbreak: Late Yinka Odumakin-s wife, Joe Okei delivers twins

By Aisha Abass

Wife of late Afenifere spokesperson, Joe Okei Odumakin has delivered a set of twins.

She gave birth to a boy and girl at 56, months after her radical pan Yoruba icon, Yinka Odumakin died.

Sources informed Irohinoodua that Joe Okei, a right activist who began her revolutionary philosophy in the 1980s at the University of Ilorin delivered the twins late last week in California, the United States.

“She is a very strong woman. It’s means while she was running up and down for her husband’s death, she was actually pregnant” a family source told our correspondent.

Joe travelled to the United States barely a month ago for her pre delivery ante-natal.

Our correspondent heard that she will return to Nigeria before the end of the year.

“Babiesand mother are in good conditions. They are expected back to Nigeria soon hopefully before the end of the year” Comrade Makin Adeola, a member of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, (CDHR) told our correspondent.

Yinka Odumakin died at the Lagos Teaching Hospital on April 03 this year from complications arising from COVID-19.
