Kaduna not renamed Zazzau State, says govt

Kaduna State has not been remained Zauzau State, the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El Rufai has said.

In a statement by Muyiwa Adekeye on behalf of the State Government made available to Irohinoodua said the report was a piece of fiction.

Adekeye who is the Special Adviser, Media and Communications to the state governor said “Please ignore the elaborate piece of fiction that made the claim. It is fake news.”

He said the reports were inaccurate and does not represent the aspirations of the State Government.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) was reported to have claimed that Kaduna had been remained Zazzau State.

The report said some lawmakers had passed the bill which the report said was accented to President Mohammadu Buhari.
