Srongman of South West politics, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu may be punished for his recent statement expressed out of frustration with allege plans to run him out of the race to succeed Buhari.

Tinubu had said that he worked hard to enthrone President Mohammadu Buhari and also the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

He said Buhari contested thrice but failed and that he had to go and persuade him after watching him cry on National TV over his loss.

Tinubu was believed to be expressing accumulated grievances spanning years of isolation from the party he helped nurture by a powerful cabal in Abuja.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, said the party may punish Tinubu for his recent comment “against” Buhari.

In Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on Wednesday, Tinubu met with State told delegates. He told them of his efforts over the years and how he cautioned Buhari not to undermine the people of the South West.
