Yoruba music stars have been ranked Africa’s highest paid artistes on Spotify.
They take home a total monthly earning of $2,971,350 million signifying the ability of Yoruba Nation to lead Africa and even the world when given her sovereignty.
Among the list of the top 9 artists in Africa are Davido, Asake, Ayra star, Tyla from South Africa with the Yoruba son, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid leading with $1 million monthly earning.
According to data from Chart Masters, Wizkid generates an impressive $1 million per month from the streaming service.
This outstanding accomplishment underscores the distinctive talent and formidable impact of Yoruba musicians, who have garnered immense popularity and exert significant influence on the global music landscape.
With a career spanning over a decade, Yoruba sons and daughters have consistently pushed the boundaries of Afrobeat, collaborating with international artistes and releasing globally acclaimed albums.
The top earner, Wizkid, achievement shows his immense popularity and influence in global music industry.
