Wise Ekiti Governor visits arch rival Segun Oni

The Ekiti State Governor-s growing reputation as a man of King Solomon’s wisdom has again been proven.

The Governor on Tuesday visited his arch rival, Mr Segun Oni who contested against him but came second in the June 18 Governorship poll.

Mr Oni went to court but lost at all levels

The recent visit has continue to excite locals who keep talking about the Governor’s extra ordinary wisdom

“He has shown leadership again and again. By visiting Oni, the Governor has demonstrated his liberal disposition and his wisdom not to hit a fellow because he is down” Chief Rapheal Agbana a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC told Irohinoodua.

He said the visit has improved the Governor’s reputation as a statesman.

On his part, Mr Jackson Adebayo an aide of Mr Segun told journalists that
“The governor was visiting Ido-Osi, and in a show of courtesy decided to pay a visit to Segun Oni.

“There is nothing serious about that, even recently the South West arm of the PDP came to pay a visit. Everyone is welcome.”

Mr Adebayo added that Mr Oni’s “political family” would take a decision on the next line of action to be taken by the former governorship candidate.
