Fuji maestro Adewale Ayuba, also known as Mr. Johnson, has revealed the reasons behind his conversion from Islam to Christianity.

Ayuba shared his story during a church service to the congregation monitored by Irohinoodua.

According to the Fuji super star he became a Christian in the year 2010.

He said before now he had a lot of alfas when I was still practicing Muslim.

“They will come to my house to pray for me at the end of the day after… maybe after two hours, of hot prayer, immediately they have left, I would go upstairs and carry my Bible as if that prayer they have made God was not going to answer it.”

He said he would pick his Bible to sanctify the prayers.

“I’ve been doing this for so many years, but my wife kept saying “Wale why are you doing this to yourself, why are you scared.”
Ayuba said she knew he was scared then because he was thinking if he turnaround to say he was a Christian, I might get killed.

He spoke further “Because I’ve been to Mecca for Hajj. In my album I’ve mentioned Mohammed S.A.W, alot of times. People believe I’m a Muslim but in me I knew was not but because of the genre of music I chose to do (Fuji) the orientation of it is from Muslim background.”

He said he thought if he said he was a Christian he was not going to live.

He said something kept telling him that “Wale, I choose you… I gave you your talent. I’m the only one that can hide you from evil.”

“One day I called all the alfa in my house and I told them that we all serve the same God. ANOBI Isa is Jesus, Abraham is Ibrahim, Moses is Musa… I’m choosing Moses and I’m choosing Jesus Christ and the head of alfa in my house said is that what you want and I said Yes but they said you gave all your children Muslim names how are you going to do by that. That what I’m going to do and for the first time you realized I’m telling you and I’m not supposed not to tell you sir that all my children have been going to church I’m the only one that remain in this house that’s still practicing Muslim and I’m the one that gave them time, I support them . Every Dec 31st I go to church, if I don’t go to church it’s like that year I want to die… to cut it short from 2010, I don’t know what’s going on . It’s like God opened a doors of blessing.” Ayuba mentioned

He continued, “The one that really suprised me happend 3 days ago, I got a loan from one bank and when I was here for 31st of December, I told my God b4 the end of January I want to pay this money I made the payment 3 days ago… I thank God for his mercy. I have too much to say”
