‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” is back

Frank Edoho who is the host says the refreshed event will last for 52 weeks, almost one year and that N20m is waiting to be won by contestants.
The TV show dominated the screen for decades before it was rested. Many young Nigerians took part in the event that changed their fortunes.
This time the TV show is codenamed “The Rebirth” with the provision of “asking the host” to aid star participants.
Other aspects are“50-50”, “Call a Friend”, and “Ask the Audience”.
Agada Apochi, spoke at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos on Sunday night told journalists that the TV show has been rebranded to create more excitement.
He said “We are sponsoring ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ to entertain, educate and excite Nigerians. The return of WWTBAM is coming with a bang that would create lasting memories in the audience’s minds. It is going to keep them on the edge of their seats as new millionaires emerge from the show, ” he said.
Edoho who was the host in the mid 2000s said “Hey everyone. I assume you know by now that I have been offered the role of Host of WWTBAM Series 2.
“My immense gratitude goes to all of you for hoping that I get the job. Thank you for your kind wishes and felicitations God bless you all. #FrankIsBack #WWTBAMTheReturn,” he tweeted.
