We Won’t Allow Nigeria to Break up- Says Ogun Governor Abiodun

Nigeria will not be allowed to break up, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has said.

Nigeria is currently witnessing a groundswell of agitation by dissenting groups. Abiodun however said the country is better as a united front with her over 190million population.

Abiodun Nigeria will not experience another civil war.

In his seasonal message made available to Irohinoodua Abiodun said he was confident the country would remain one even in the face of challenges.

 

Dapo Abiodun said he believes God will take control of every single challenges faced by Nigeria. He urged Nigerians to have faith in God to overcome the situation of this Country.

He said, “This country will not break; nothing will happen to us in this country, we will not go into civil war, the unity of this country is non-negotiable, God will give us peace in this country, He will give us rest.

“As a government, we will try our best, please continue to pray for us.”

According to him “As a Government, we will try our best, please continue to pray for us” He added.

He urge everyone to unite in fighting the country’s common enemy irrespective of religious, tribe and cultural belief.

Sheik Iskeel Lawal, who met the Governor earlier said Government should employ Islamic teachers in states and Governments schools.
