Newsbreak: DSS Arrests Emefiele, may be detained from criminal activities

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Mr Godwin Emefiele.

He was arrested on Saturday in Abuja, Irohinoodua learnt.

The President, Bola Tinubu, on Friday evening suspended the CBN Governor before his arrest by the State Security Service.

However, Tinubu has immediately appointed Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi as the acting Governor of the CBN.
