“We are worried. Home is not safe. The streets are a threat and now, death has come to live with us on the campus,” Adaeze Chukwuma, a student of Mass Communication told Irohinoodua.

He said the hostels were not protected adding that while asleep students do so with one eye open.

Another student was also said to have been kidnapped near the Faculty of Social Sciences on Monday bringing the number of students in tragic encounters to three in less than 10 days.

Philomena was said to have been kidnapped around Bello hostel located inside the campus.

She had told her friends she was going to meet another friend. But few hours later her destination was unknown.
