By Awe Oketunji
Two people who came from the United States to Nigeria for the burial of their father have been kidnapped in Osun State
Irohinoodua was informed that Pastor (Mrs.) Omobola Adepoju and Mrs. Abiola Olukotun were seized by suspected herdsmen at a farm near Ile-Ife in Osun State.
A member of the vigilante group in Osun who does not wish to be named said the kidnappers were armed herdsmen notorious for operating on the Ibadan-Ife road axis.
“The pattern of the operation reported to us and the place of kidnap and those who saw them suggest they are some of those armed herdsmen” the official said.
Irohinoodua could not independently confirm if the kidnappers were herdsmen or not.
The  two women are daughters of late Chief Emiola Adesina, who was the  Director of Sports, Western State of Nigeria.
Pa Adesina who was the proprietor of Suboola Nursery and Primary School located in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital  died and was buried last week.
The two women came for the burial from the United States.
“Omobola came in from Atlanta and was with her sister in her farm at a location on Ife road in Ibadan where they were both kidnapped yesterday,” The kidnappers have called Prof Tunji Olaopa who lives at Ibadan said in a short statement.
He confirmed that the kidnappers were already making demands  for N100m
