Tinubu suspends EFCC Chairman Bawa

The Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been suspended.

Bawa was suspended this evening by the Federal Government.

Irohinoodua learnt that Bawa was asked to hand over to the Director of Operations of the anti corruption institution

Sources close to the Presidency told Irohinoodua that the EFCC is being investigated for a string of corruption and money laundering linked to him.

“Nigeria is rotten. The past eight years was hell. Its a can of warms. The Directorate of State Security Services, DSS discovered a lot of misconduct linked to the EFCC Chairman” a source at the Presidency told Irohinoodua
