Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu is inspiring a new spirit of leadership in Nigeria, former Senator Shehu Sanni has said.
Sanni also berated former President Mohammadu Buhari for failing to make qualitative use if his power as the most powerful person in Nigeria during his time.
Sanni wrote in his twitter monitored by Irohinoodua on Tuesday.
He expressed his displeasure in Buhari’s government saying he was boring and characterised by stunted vision.
He wrote “Wherever he is, the former President is watching how power can be effectively used to reawaken and reinforce the spirit of a nation.A contrast to his boring era that was characterised by deficiency of vision,subservience to a parasitic cabal and notorious for its emptiness.He called all the previous Governments kwarapt while he cultivated,incubated and harboured the most larcenous and opaque Federal Cabinet in Nigeria’s history.”
The human right activist is the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria (CRCN) and also the Chairman of Hand-in-Hand, Africa.
His political career started in 2003 when he first contested contested for the Senate under Alliance for Democracy (AD) and lost to Senator Muktar Aruwa of the All Nigerian Peoples Party ANPP.
He later Joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) where he contested and won the Kaduna Central Senatorial District under the umbrella of APC.
