Shasha crisis: Kano,Kebbi Governors in close door meeting with Makinde

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has led a delegation of Northern leaders in a closed door meeting with their counterpart in Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde.
Others at the meeting were the Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Bagudu, Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello and the Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle
The meeting was held at the State House in Ibadan.
Irohinoodua was informed that the Governors agreed to work together to prevent any further ethnic clashes between Yoruba and Hausa and Fulani people resident in the state.
The governors arrives at Ibadan 7.03pm on Monday..They were later led into a closed door meeting with Makinde.
“The Governors had very useful discussions They all agree to work together to stop further escalation of the ethnic feud” a source close to the meeting told Irohinoodua.
The source said the Governors will meet with the parties in the dispute on Tuesday.
Violence broke out late last week following a minor dispute between Yoruba and Hausa residents in the ancient town.
A government source at the meeting said Makinde promised to ensure that the crisis is not escalated and that he would do his best to bring back trust that once existed between the two parties.
