Rev. FR. Imoedemhe Linus Anoghene Francis marks 50th birthday with twin sister

Respected Rev. Father Imoedemhe Linus Anoghena Francis has marked his 50 years anniversary on earth the largest part of which he had dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

Rev Anoghena Francis marked the historic event with his twin sister Prophetess Blessing Otsu.

The golden Jubilee landmark was celebrated at Great God Event Center located close to the Archangel Parish Catholic Church in the Festac area of Lagos, the Nigerian economic hub.

The Anniversary was marked with the launch of a film dedicated to promoting human salvation through service to God.

A large number of faithful turned out for the event amidst praises to God for a gracious journey through the thorny path of life.

Other parishes, including friends, relatives from different denominations within and outside Lagos graced the occasion.

His friends in the service of God praised the Rev Father for his steadfastness, dedication, honesty and piety.

The Chairman of the occasion, Professor Otunba Sola Fosudo, who is a Senior lecturer at Lagos State University (LASU) expressed delight at the preservation of the Rev. Father and his twin sister for the past half a century.

He praised God on behalf of the celebrants. He also supported the movie launch with a modest amount of money.

Friends and Relatives of Prophetess Blessing Otsu who were at the event describes her as a God fearing woman who always put smile on peoples’ faces.

Showers of prayers focused on request from God Almighty to uplift her to higher positions in our life endeavours.

The celebration which started during the church service on Sunday saw the launch of a movie premiere by the church media team, Universal Xtain media, called the “Confessors”.

The movie cast included Zack Orji, Tony Umez, Sola Fosudo, Anthony Nwahiri and some another veteran actors.

The movie shows how a priest paid the price of sacrifice just to keep the seal of confession. He faces humiliation, pain and scandals, yet could not mention the culprit who already confessed to him at the confessional.

The church media secretary, Josephine Chidebe, who opened the flow on the movie launch described it as a way of evangelizing the word of God.

She said the movie through Xtain media will promote the work of God and also explore spiritual matters while renewing and revitalizing people’s personal faith.

According to her, “Today we are offically launching Universal Xtain media on our youtube channel and another social media platforms.”

She spoke further that “the purpose of Universal Xtian media is to pass the message of God through envagelism, promote the work of God through the media and win souls for Christ. It is a Catholic movie , primarily for new enangelization” she said.

She explained that ‘Confessors” (Confessional seal is about how a priest paid the price of sacrifice just to keep the seal of confession, he faces humiliation, pain and scandals yet he couldn’t mention the name of his culprit who confess to him at the confessional .Now no matter what a confessor confesses to a priest, he has no right to reveal anything even if he is dying. “

Chidebe who took time to evangelize God’s work through the movie also used the medium to promote the media team social media handle.

She said “These platforms are created to promote the work of our evangelism, let us subscribe, comment, like and share.”
