Reports that two judges who ruled in favour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu died the same day is false, the National Judicial Council, (NJC) has said.

The social media is saturated with unverified reports that Justices Bolaji-Yusuf, Boloukuoromo, who Affirmed Tinubu’s Election as Nigerian President died on the same day.

The report has been widely circulated.

Irohinoodua has since been informed that the reports are a red herring designed to cause disaffection across the country.

The two Judges, Justices Mistura Bolaji-Yusuf and Boloukuoromo Moses Ugo are infact alive and healthy, NJC sources said.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) countered the sensationl report as tissues of lies.

NJC Secretary, Ahmed Gambo Saleh, has faulted the social media report as untrue.

He said the judges are “alive, well, and carrying out their duties without any problems.”

“It is a lie. They are alive and well and doing their jobs,” Gambo Ahmed said on Monday.

The panel which validated the Tinubu victory were Justices Mistura Bolaji-Yusuf, Boloukuoromo Moses Ugo, Haruna Simon Tsammani, Stephen Adah, and Abba Mohammed.

The false report had claimed two Judges members of the Panek died on the same day in their sleep.

The report stated that “Justice Mistura Bolaji-Yusuf, one of the five judges who presided over the electoral case, was confirmed dead by her family earlier today. According to family members, she was in good health the previous night before going to bed. However, when they attempted to wake her the following morning, she was unresponsive. The cause of her death remains unknown at this time.

“In a separate but equally troubling incident, Justice Boloukuoromo Moses Ugo was also found dead following a loud noise from his room around 2 a.m. Family members reportedly broke down his door after hearing the disturbance and discovered him bleeding and unresponsive.”

Another source at the NJC said one of the Judges has a matter this week and the other would be attending an international conference soon.

” It’s mere proganda, q very dirty one and very shameful. It is unafrican for people for political reasons to resort to passing death wish on people that are living. These are heartless people. They have no feelings for human beings,” the NJC official told Irohinoodua on Monday.
