The Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji has been commended for creating a paradign shift in tourism development in the State.

The Oluyin expressed his gratitude for the Governor’s initiative in inviting the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Lola Ade John, to the upcoming Hike Ekiti Mountain Easter Tourism Carnival, meticulously crafted by the Bureau of Tourism Development and Discover Ekiti Tourism Club.
Irohinoodua was informed that Oba Adeniyi Ajakaiye conveyed his delight at the collaboration between the Federal Government and the Ekiti State Government in harnessing the rich tourism potential of the nation. This synergistic approach, he noted, signifies a significant stride towards the holistic development of Nigeria’s tourism landscape.
Furthermore, the Oluyin of Iyin lavished praise upon Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, the Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, for his unwavering dedication to showcasing Ekiti’s diverse tourism assets. He acknowledged Barrister Ojo-Lanre’s passion as a driving force behind the successful promotion of Ekiti’s cultural and natural heritage on both local and global stages.
In anticipation of the Minister’s visit, the Oluyin assured a warm and resounding reception for Mrs. Lola Ade John, Alhaji Nura Kangiwa, DG, National Institute for Hotel and Tourism and Chief Folarin Coker, DG, Nigeria Tourism Development Authority, upon their arrival in Iyin Ekiti.
He emphasized the significance of the occasion, particularly the exploration of the iconic Abanijorin Rock during the scheduled hike, as a testament to Ekiti’s abundant natural wonders.
