The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, has flipped over the chances of Labour Party, LP Presidential aspirant, Mr Peter Obi.
El Rufai described Obi as a mere Nollywood Actor who has no chance of winning the 2023 Presidential election.
The Kaduna State Governor who is also a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said this during an interview session with a National TV
El-Rufai who described Obi as a Nollywood actor that cannot go far.
He said the candidate does not have the number of states to beat other Presidential candidates at the poll.
He said, ‘’ Peter Obi is a Nollywood actor and that’s all he will be. This election is between the APC and the PDP because they have the footprint, they have the spear. Ethnicity and religious bigotry will not take you anywhere and that’s what the Labour Party’s (LP) campaign is about’’
He said further “If you poll states and you make them equal, Yes, Peter Obi will sweep South-Eastern states. He will do well in South-South. Where else? He is not polling well in South-West, other than a drop in the ocean in Lagos. He is polling in the Christian enclaves in the North, he is polling well. But how many are they? How many? Peter Obi cannot win the election,‘’ El Rufai added.
He said the total number of Peter Obi’s state, Anambra, is equal to just a local government in Kaduna State undermining the prospect of his national spread.
‘’He doesn’t have the number of states. He doesn’t have twenty five percent in more than…,the last time we checked, in more than sixteen states. He can’t go anywhere.’’
