A radio station dedicated to the realisation of Oodua Republic has been launched.
The broadcast begins on January 01, 2023.
Ilana Omo O’odua in a statement made available to Irohinoodua and signed by its Chairman, Prof Wale Adeniran and the General Secretary, Hamsat Amusan said the broadcast will be heard by Yoruba people all over the world.
Ilana said the radio will promote Oodua Republic through massive mobilisation and sensitisation of the people.
The broadcast will be stationed in Dubai, according to Ilana Omo Oodua
The renewed agitation for Oodua Republic began in 1994 with the establishment of the Oodua Youth Movement, OYM. Since 1994 no fewer than 100 Yoruba self determination groups have emerged all demanding for a separate country for over 100 million Yoruba people spread across some 190 countries.
