No DSS advisory to Presidency on Muslim-Muslim ticket, says Buhari

There is no advisory from the Department of State Security, (DSS) to the Presidency, the Federal Government has said.

in a statement dismissed reports that the DSS had written to advice President Mohammadu Buhari on Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The social media is saturated with reports that the DSS had written to President Buhari advising him on the danger of the APC presenting a Muslim Presidential candidate and a Muslim Vice Presidential candidate.

He said “We wish to advise well-meaning Nigerians to ignore a laughably puerile report by an apparently pirate online newspaper seeking to sow division and chaos on the choice of Governor Kashim Shettima as the Running Mate of our Party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Adesina said the
so-called newspaper is like a deadly virus.

“Stay safe by keeping away from its toxic reports.”
