lVP Osinbajo tests Negative, Fayemi self-isolates,Pastor Adeboye holds lone vigil

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative to the Coronavirus, Irohinoodua was informed this morning. Sources said the result of his blood samples taken by doctors was released today.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi said on his tweeter that has has embarked on self isolation after meeting two people who had tested positive to the virus.
“I took a COVID-19 test, having gone into self isolation since Yesterday evening. Im asymptomatic and feel well, but I was in a meeting with two people who had since tested positive. I look forward to an all clear and have encouraged all my colleagues to take the test.” One of Fayemi’s aide said the Governor had been taken precautionary measures since January this year adding that the result of his test is expected to be negative.
Experts have proved that contact with a positive person does not translate to being infected.
This had prompted the VP and his aides to go on self isolation. Another source told Irohinoodua on Tuesday that the General Overseer, Redeem Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye held a lone all night vigil for the VP on Monday and Tuesday nights. Osinbajo was a Pastor in Redeem Church before he was picked as the country’s VP.
The source said Adeboye also prayed for the country’s leadership many of who had tested positive or are in self isolation.
The Vice President had been in contact with the Chief of Staff to the President, Aba Kyari who earlier tested positive on Monday.
Osinbajo’s Chief Spokesperson, Dr Laolu Akande said on Tuesday that his boss had tested negative to the coronavirus. Meanwhile, apprehension continues within the political class following high level contacts with the CSO before he conducted his own medical test.
