Newsbreak:Armed men kidnap UNN Prof

Armed men have kidnapped a senior lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), Prof. Oguejiofor Ujam.
The lecturer was seized along the Ugwuogo-Opi-Nsukka road in Anambra State.
At the University of Nigeria, Prof. Ujam is the Dean of the School of General Studies.
He was abducted on Sunday, sources told Irohinoodua but the school authority and his family were unaware until Monday when the family was informed.
As at press time, there was no information of his whereabouts.
“The armed men took the Professor at gun point. His family has been contacted by the kidnappers. No one is sure where exactly the Professor may have been taken to,” the source told our correspondent.
Earlier on Saturday, an official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Emeason Chima was kidnapped in the same South East region.
A security source said local police have launched a manhunt for the kidnappers.
The police officer who does not wish to be name said the State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has asked the police and the Directorate of State Security Services, (DSS) to track down the kidnappers.
