Newsbreak: Supreme Court in Abuja on fire

Firefighters battled this morning to quench the fire that engulfed the Supreme Court located in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.
Irohinoodua was informed that at least offices of three Supreme Court Judges have been destroyed due to the inferno.
“The fire started this morning. The staff were evacuated. Fire fighters were invited. Their response was prompt but as at press time, they are still fighting to put an end to the fire” a security official who does not wish to be named told our correspondent on Monday.
The Supreme Court of Nigeria (SCN) is the highest court in Nigeria.
It is currently handing the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, (PEPT).
The apex court is located in the Central District, Abuja popularly known as the Three Arms Zone, due to its closeness to the Presidential Complex, the National Assembly, and the Supreme Court.
