Newsbreak: Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu is dead

The Governor of Ondo State,Rotimi Akeredolu is dead.
Irohonoodua was informed that Akeredolu died 2am on Wednesday morning at a German Hospital.
Family sources said he died of leukaemia and prostrate cancer.
Akeredolu, a lawyer and former President Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, fought a bitter struggle with cancer spanning over 10 years. He was aged 67.
His wife is a cancer survivor. Akeredolu’s mother died September 2022.
The death of Akeredolu is expected to put an end to the political crisis in Ondo State where his supporters had waged a tense struggle with the Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
A reliable source said the body of the former Governor would be flown to Nigeria before the new year for burial.
