The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu is dead.
He died on Thursday aged 82.
Sources told Irohinoodua that Iwuanyanwu died after a brief illness.
He was born September 1942.
Ohanaeze is the apex body of Igbo organisation
He eas elected the President General ofOhanaeze Ndigbo on the 20th of April, 2023 following the death of Prof. George Obiozor.
He is the second leader of Ohanaeze to die in office.
He was the publisher of Champion Newspapers. He was known for his philanthropic contributions to many projects spread across the country.
He will be remembered for his contributions to business and politics in Nigeria spanning many decades
