Iran on Saturday night fired 300 missiles and drones targetting Israel.
Gulf markets were down on Sunday indicating the serious consequences of the widening Middle East crisis following Iran attacks on Saturday.

The world had been holding its breath for what Iran may do after its consulate in Damascus was hit by Israeli strikes, but experts on global affairs could bet that Iran would revenge for the killing of her nationals.

The April 1 Israeli attack led to the death of Iranians including top commanders of the Iran Republican Guards.

Irohinoodua correspondent monitored the reports indicating that Iran focused targets in Israel on Saturday.

Reports of possible deaths were unknown but Israel said most of the drones and missiles were intercepted without indicating if there were casualties

Iranian officials claim the attack was in response to Israeli deadly raid on its consulate in Damascus.

It is uncertain how Israel may respond to the latest attacks on its soil.

Both Israel and Iran are regional powers each with the backing of either of the two most powerful countries in the world.

Russia is an ally of Iran while the United States is a timelong ally of Israel.
