
Newsbreak: Hundreds march in London for Oduduwa Republic

Hundreds of Yoruba people marched today in London calling for self determination of the largely Yoruba speaking people of the South West
The rally was organised by several groups and individuals calling for what they called Oduduwa Nation.
The rally is coordinate by Yoruba First, a coalition of several Pan Yoruba groups.
The leaders of the protest were drawm from Wales, Scotland and England. Koiki, one of the pillars of the protest said the group will present a letter to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson detailing the Yoruba clamour for self determination.
A member of Apapo Oodua Koya, (AOKOYA) Mr Muftau Adewo said the rally was prelude to the October 1 procession which he said will bring thousands of Yoruba people together in London at Travalgar square.
“There will be protests on London, Canada and many European cities. I can assure you that nothing can stop us. We are going to use all legitimate means to achieve Oodua Republic” Adewo who hails from Kwara state said.
