Newsbreak: Ekiti elects Aribasoye as Speaker

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has elected a new Speaker for the 26-member Parliament.
The new speaker is Adeoye Aribasoye. He is from the Northern part of Ekiti and an indigene of Ayedun Ekiti. He is a lawyer.
He was first elected into the Parliament four years ago.
Other officers of the 7th Ekiti State House of Assembly were Speaker- Rt Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, Deputy Speaker- Rt Hon Bolaji Egbeyemi Olagbaju, Majority leader- Hon. Tolu Ige, Chief Whip- Hon Bose Olowokere, Deputy Majority leader- Hon. Yomi Ayorinde, Deputy Whip- Alhaja Mariam Ogunlade and the Minority- Hon. Dele Ogunsakin.
