Newsbreak: Armed men abduct over 200 schoolgirls in Zamfara

In the early hours of today, armed bandits have seized hundreds of school girls in Zamfara State.

The girls were abducted by heavily armed men who stormed the school and later took the pupils away on motorcycles.

The students were taken away from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

“They stormed the school and carted away our jewels. This is one pain too many’ mother of one of the girls told Irohinoodua on phone.

Our correspondent could bot independently confirm the number of the latest abducted pupils. Local sources put the figure at over 200 pupils.

The kidnapping is coming on the heels of several pupils of a Government school kidnapped in Kagara, Niger State
