Newsbreak: 47 Pan Yoruba activists regain freedom

Some Yoruba self determination activists arrested on July 03 in the wake of the peaceful protest at Ojota in Lagos have been released.
Irohinoodua was informed that they were released Tuesday evening after meeting their bail conditions.
The police had arrested the activists who were among thousands that took part in the peaceful protests.
Their arrests was trailed by local and international outcry
An official of Ilana Omo Oodua, Mr Maxwell Adeleye said 47 of the 48 activists were released by the court today.
“This is to inform the general public that 47 out of the 48 protesters arrested by the Nigerian Police during the Yoruba Nation Rally held July 3rd, 2021 have been released from detention after meeting their bail conditions” Adeleye said
