N8b scam: EFCC swoops on former Aviation Minister Sirika

Former Aviation Minister Hadi Abubakar Serika is now in the net of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).

He was arrested over an ongoing N8,069,176,864.00 money laundering scam.

He arrived at the EFCC Abuja
at about 1:00 pm on Tuesday.

The embattled former minister’s arrival at the anti-graft agency’s was seen by journalists and workers at the EFCC head office.

Sirika was attended to by EFCC investigators.

He was questioned on alleged scam relating to contracts awarded by him to a company known as Engirios Nigeria Limited .

The company is said to be owned by his younger sibling, Abubakar Sirika.
