Human canibals kill, eat five in Ebonyi during communal clash

Five people of Ali Ugwelu town of Ebonyi State have been killed in a communal clash between them and a community in Cross Rivers State.
Reports said the victims’ flesh were eaten by the barbarians
The five people were killed while harvesting cassava on their farms
Two communities of Ali Ugwelu and Erei in Biasa Local Government areas of Cross Rivers State have been fighting each other for decades
On Tuesday, Ekoli Edda people of Afikpo South Local Government area who visited Ali Ugwelu to farm were killed by indigenes of Egbor supported by people from Enna located in Biase Local Government area of Cross River State
Those killed included Ama Chukwu, 39 years old, who was beheaded. Mr Egor Etta Oji and his son, Felix Egor Eta were also killed.
An escapee and survivor Nneka Olughu had narrated the encounter to locals saying that after killing the five, the assailants cooked and ate their flesh
