CCC Somolu Cathedral Lauds LASG for Developmental Strides

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu has been commended for providing the essentials of life for residents of Somolu in the state.

The Celestial Church of Christ, CCC, Somolu Parish has applauded the
administration for provision of basic social amenities for Somolu residents and Lagosians at large.

The Church says it is impressed by the Lagos State Government face-lifts and construction of motorable roads in the area.

For over 50 Years, the roads that connect streets in the area that included Eyiowuawi Street and Olabiran Street have never been touched, as the roads is always an eyesore leading to traffic congestion in the area, especially during raining season.

Spokesperson for the Church Harvest Committee, Evangelist Akinyeke
in a release made available at the weekend said Sanwo Olu continues to set impressive standards for rural communities.

He said for Fadipe Street, which is the longest street in the area has
been neglected for long, and the said street links over 10 adjoining Streets together.

The Streets include; Anifowoshe, Odunalde, Fagbeiro, Salami, Odubanjo, Apata, Shodimu, Eyiowuawi and Olabiran.

Abimbola the efforts of the incumbent Governor Sanwo Olu remained indelible.

Showing appreciation, the Area Coordinator: Venerable Superior Evangelist (Dr) Makusota Elijah Olaade and Parochial Committee Chairman of the Parish, Evangelist Ariyo Adebajo said, “we the members of the Celestial Church of Christ, Somolu Cathedral with over 1000 members which about 85 Percent of its members resides in the area really appreciate the Lagos State government, and constituency representative, former Hon. Olowo Rotimi and the Somolu Local Government Chairman, Hon Ahmed Salau Dullar.

The Church is however using this medium to invite the Number One Citizen of the State, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu alongside officials of the Lagos State Government to her 51st Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday July 16th, 2023, to further appreciate the Government and to showcase their warm affection and support to the LASG as the Governor pilots the affairs of the State in his Second Term in the helms of affairs of the State of Excellence as Executive Governor.
