Group urges Northern leaders to support Tinubu, plans polling unit monitors

The National Coalition of polling unit Ambassadors NACOPUAM is set the ensure mandate protection across the thousands of polling units in Nigeria ahead of the 2023 elections.

The Coalitoon is an extention of the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Campaign network

In its adress to journalists on Monday NATIONAL COALITION OF POLLING UNITS AMBASSADORS NACOPUAM, also urged Northern leaders to support the All prpgressives Congress, APC candidate

The group’s coordinator, Mr Taiwo Ajayi said the the coalition is part of the Asiwaju’ Presidential Agenda being the first Pro Asiwaju independent Political pressure group that has been in existence since 2016,during President Buhari’s first term in office.

He said the group expressed complete disappointment in the recent adoption and endorsement of former vice President Atiku Abubakar by some Northern Elders recently, Asiwaju’ Presidential Agenda Project body has condemned the endorsement saying that such an endorsement can set the country ablaze, our group described it as an unfortunate situation that how can they even support the idea of a Northerner handing over to another Northerner at this time when other regions were seriously complaining and calling for equal opportunities and balancing in the democratic arrangements of governance in our dear country, Nigeria, we cannot imagine the moral justification behind the endorsement of a Northerner again after the NORTH HAD ALREADY SPENT 47 YEARS IN POWER out of the 62years of Nigerias independence, we therefore want to advised the Elders in question to stop what our group reffered to an act that can set our country ablaze, ,we would therefore advice the northern Elders in question to please change and support Asiwaju’ Bola Ahmed of APC as their preffered Presidential candidatefor 2023 Presidential Election, in the spirit of fairness and true democratic values, it will not be out of place if the Elders can change their stand today.
