USA missing F-35 war plane found after pilot safe ejection

The United States of America said its missing F-35 fighter jet has been found after a pilot ejected from the aircraft on Sunday for an unknown reason when the plane continued to fly in a ’zombie mode.’

According to the Marine Corp’s Joint Base Charleston, the debris of the plane that went missing on Sunday afternoon was located in South Carolina’s rural Williamsburg County on Monday.

“Personnel from Joint Base Charleston in close coordination with local authorities, have located a debris field in Williamsburg County. The debris was discovered two hours northeast of JB Charleston,”

The debris from $80M stealth fighter jet was located two hours northeast of the Marine base where the locals in the area are being ask to stay clear of the site.

“Members of the community should avoid the area as the recovery team secures the debris field. We are transferring incident command to the USMC [US Marine Corps] this evening, as they begin the recovery process,” Military said.

The name of the pilot who ejected from the plane in North Charleston around 2pm on Sunday has been made unknown since the search of the missing war jet.

Information from the Marine Department revealed that the pilot has been in a stable condition in the hospital where he was taken for medical attention.

All Marine Corps in the aviation unit has also been ordered to pause every operation for 48-hours as they intend to reinforce new flying policies, practices and procedures with their Marines.

The aircraft is now placed at the National Museum of the United States Air Force base
for historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural purposes of study.
