Newsbreak: Wagner boss Prigozhin killed in Moscow plane crash

The Commander of Wagner, the Russian Mercenary group may have died in a plane crash on Wednesday evening.

A private plane with 14 people on board crashed between Moscow and St Petersbourg on Wednesday.

There are strong speculations that Yevgeny Prigozhin is on board the crashed that plane.

Irohinoodua correspondent learnt that the passenger plane exploded before the crash.

The Mercenary group was formed in 2014 and has been active in Africa and the Middle East.

The Russian Federal Aviation listed Prigozhin among those that were killed in the crash.

In June this year, the Wagner boss led a mutiny against the government of President Vladimir Putin in what many see as a counter revolutionary attempt to topple the Kremlin.

On Monday, the Wagner boss was said to have visited Mali after which he promised to lead the liberation of countries he said are under colonial rule
