The treaty ceeded all Yorubaland including Ijebu, Abeokuta(Egba), Ketu(comprising greater part of Benin Republic), and Oyo(comprising all of Ekiti, Ijesha, Ilorin, Lokoja, Oke-Ogun, Osun, Ibadan, Oke-Igbo, Ife etc) and some parts of Benin to Great Brittain though at gun point
