Erelu Fayemi storms rural markets to secure more votes for Oyebanji

Erelu Bisi Fayemi has continued to take the campaign for All Progressives Congress, (APC) to rural market women across Ekiti State.

Erelu who is the wife of the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and Chairperson Biodun Oyebanji women Campaign Council expressed satisfaction with the effective utilization of neighborhood markets across the State in preparation for the June 18 poll.

She said rural markets built by the administration across cross the state by Ekiti State Government has continued to inspire communities across the largely agrarian state. She said APC remains committed to integrated rural development to improve the livelihood of millions of women and their families.

“Social amenities like good roads, water supply, befitting neighborhood market like this among others are important to the economic growth of our people, that is why we provided them and after the expiration of this government’s tenure we won’t take any of the projects with us . The projects remain in Ekiti for the use of all and provision of more projects can only be assured by voting for APC governorship Candidate, Mr Biodun Oyebanji ” she said amidst cheers by thousands of market women and men who have seen her over the years as a source of inspiration in women empowerment across the state.

Ekiti is labelled as the hub of many successful programmes tied to women empowerment many of the policies inspired by her hardwork.

The wife of the Governor stated this during the tour of some markets in Ise, Emure and Ilawe Ekiti.

She was accompanied to all the markets by the APC Governorship Candidate’s running mate Chief Monisade Afuye , Wife of the Governorship Candidate; Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji and members of the women campaign council .

She observed that maintenance of government infrastructure like market facilities was key to the development of the state most especially at various communities.

Erelu Fayemi therefore appealed to the people of the state to support continuation of this beautiful initiative by voting for APC Candidate Mr Biodun Oyebanji in the coming governorship election.

The Governor’s wife regretted that experience have shown that if opposition parties gain the affairs of government, all loffty ideas and other important projects would be neglected thereby drawing the state backward .

In her contribution, the APC governorship Candidate’s wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji gave assurance that the continuity agenda of people’s loving programmes of the APC would not be abandoned but give more attention to better the lots of the people.

She said that the party’s candidate has the pedigree and impeccable character to stir the ship of the state in the right direction.

The APC governorship Candidate’s running mate, Chief Monisade Afuye thanked the people in anticipation for voting APC, promising that the people would enjoy the government in every area.
