Ekiti gets 4 new COVID-19 cases
By  Ogunsona Samuel
Ekiti State Government has announced additional cases of newly discovered four COVID-19 patients.
The new addition makes the total right.
The State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi in a release obtained by Irohinoodua stated that the new cases are primary contacts of the 4th recorded case, a male doctor, aged 45 years old, who carried out a surgery on the recently deceased third positive case, during childbirth.
Fayem said “The newly confirmed cases are currently stable and asymptomatic and they have been transferred to the State’s Isolation Center, Ado-Ekiti while our contact tracing team have commenced the process of contact identification and tracing of their immediate contacts for isolation”
According to him “This brings the total of #COVID19 positive cases in Ekiti State to eight (8) – five (5) active, (2) discharged and one (1) death.”
