Doctors praise ailing colleague, calls for asssistance

Some notable Nigerian medical practitioners have called on men and women of good conscience to assist ailing Professor Adeyinka Adisa.

The Professor of Surgery is currently on admission in Imo State battling between life and death.

He is said to be known for his dedication to duty, hardwork, diligence and honesty.

World renonwn medical practitioners, Abraham Ariyo, (MD)
Temidayo Ogundiran, (MD)
Mr. Banji Adeyoju, (MD),
David Abebefe, (MD)
Simon Ajayi, (MD) signed the letter requesting for support for the surgeon.

The statement said “Our colleague, friend, Christian leader, distinguished surgeon and Professor of surgery and former Dean, Abia State University Teaching Hospital is sick.”

According to the medical practitioners, Prof Adisa is currently critically ill and hospitalized at a private hospital in Enugu.

“Our prayers are with the family who are going through physical and emotional distress at this point. Further, they will need our financial support for medical bills and his further care.”

The doctors statws “We are in the process of setting up fundraising program for him that is in the USA/UK and 18 countries. We will send this out soon once the program is set up.”
