Buhari to lead 16 countries in fight against COVID-19

President Mohamadu Buhari has been appointed to lead the entire West African countries in the fight against Coronavirus.
Some 16 countries make up the Economic Community for West African States, (ECOWAS)
The decision was taken today after an extensive video conference among the member states.
“West African countries are impressed by the leading role Nigeria continues to play in the campaign against COVID-19. With its huge population and human resource base, Nigeria is in the best position to lead the campaign” a Presidential source told Irohinoodua this evening
With his new appointment Buhari Bulgaria is expected to develop the regional framework that will ensure cooperation towards a regional strategic aimed at stemming the rise in COVID-19 spread across member states
