Breaking: Oyebanji’s exceptional performance earns Vanguard’s best Governor’ award

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, is set to receive the prestigious Vanguard Newspaper’s Best Governor Award for Good Governance next month.

This recognition is due to Oyebanji’s outstanding achievements in implementing his administration’s six-pillar development agenda.

Oyebanji expressed his gratitude to the Vanguard Newspaper’s Board of Editors for the recognition, stating that it will motivate him to work even harder. He attributed Ekiti State’s remarkable progress to transparency and accountability in governance.

The Governor highlighted several notable projects, including the Ekiti Knowledge Zone, Ekiti Agro-allied International Cargo Airport, and Agric Processing Zone, which were initiated by his predecessor and completed by his administration.

He also acknowledged the impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms, which have increased funding for states.

Oyebanji’s administration has also achieved success in revitalizing the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort through a public-private partnership arrangement, redefining tourism development in the state.

The Vanguard Newspaper’s Deputy Editor, Adekunle Adekoya, praised Oyebanji’s significant developments across various sectors, demonstrating his dedication to good governance and positive impact on the people of Ekiti State.
