Boko Haram, foreign countries want to break Nigeria-Says Army

By Bukola Adekanmi

The terrorist group, Boko Haram has the support of some powerful countries, the Nigerian Army has said.

The Army said a section of the international community is behind the ceaseless attacks led by Boko Haram with the sole aim of destabilizing Nigeria. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa said some of the Boko Haram insurgents are on  the payrole of some powerful countries. “There is an international conspiracy to cut Nigeria to size and compromise national renegades making attempts to destabilize and dismember Nigeria if possible in subservience  to the international paymasters, who are the owners of Boko Haram. They train them, arm them, finance then and supply logistics,” Musa said. The Army image maker stated this in a piece he sent on social media midweek.“The recent killing of our people on a rice farm in Bornu State was unexpected, inhuman, cowardly, dastardly and sadistic cruelty by Boko Haram.”

The said further “ There is no normal human being that will take pleasure in such inhuman massacre of defenseless and harmless civilians, working on their farms; but that is the nature of terrorism and those who sponsor it.”
