BAO Again: N1B to pensioners, 25m for students bursary

The Governor of Ekiti State has opened another bright chapter in sustainable development in in the State.

On Tuesday, the Governor would distribute more than N1b to pensioners.

He was also expected to dole out a total of N25m as bursary to students.

Observers describe the events as unique developments that would have great impact on the lives of the citizens.

The event held at Jibowu Hall, Government House on Tuesday.

The amount is unprecedented in the history of the state.

The Governor also doled out the sum of Twenty- nine million, four hundred thousand naira (N29,400,000) as bursary awards to 196 Ekiti Students at the Nigerian Law Schools.

Each of the students received 150k each to support their law programme at the Law Schools.

This other event will held at the Ministry of Education, Secretariat, Ado Ekiti.

Officials said arrangements are on for another batch of beneficiaries.
