Sources told Irohinoodua that the armed men invaded
Science Secondary School, Kankara, in Kankara Local Government Area located in Katsina State. Many students were seized and taken away at gun point.
Irohinoodua was informed that the armed men operated for some hours without any challenge.
“Parents were disturbed. They stormed the school this morning looking for their children. The school is in disarray”
a teacher who does not wish to be named told Irohinoodua.
He said the bandits shot into the air, surrounded the school after which they stormed the female hostel and took the girls away.
The source said the school was vulnerable and the students were easy prey for the armed men.
