Armed attacks on South West plot to conquer, take over indigenous land, says former Military Intelligence Chief

A former Nigerian Deputy Chief of Military intelligence, General Kunle Togun (rtd) has said that the frequent attacks on indigenous Yoruba land were designed to conquer the indigenous people.
He suggested that the attacks were not just banditry bus an organised plot to take over Yoruba indigenous land.
Togun was formerly of the Directorate òf Military Intelligence, (DMI) before he resigned.
He said the plot had the back of top officials in Government.
He recalled that the late Head of State General Sanni Abacha once said before he died that if there is armed uprising in a country and it cannot be fixed within four months, then it meant that the government is fully involved.
He said “Abacha once said that if there is armed uprising in a country and it lasts for months, ust know that the Government is behind that problem.”
Togun who is in charge of the South West Security Network codenamed Amotekun said further “Everyone knows about the meeting held in Kano by the Fulani’s. Their communique says that Allah has given them land in Nigeria and all the Fulanis in West and Central Africa to come and claim the land.” He spoke in Yoruba while addressing local audience monitored by Irohinoodua.
He said one of the reasons why he left the Oke-Ogun security platform was because of the attack he received when saying the truth.
He recalled that on December 24, 2020, the Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde went to Shaki where he celebrated his Christmas.
He said on December 24 when he arrived Shaki, foreign bandits were entering Oyo state through the Oke-Ogun area.
“I left church few minutes before 2pm and I heard information that three trailers were into Saki and were moving to Okerete. I went to Baba and he provided me with 40 hunters. It took them three days to locate them after which I heard they have been relocated on the 28th of December, 2020.”
Togun warned those accommodating the bandits in the name of religion to be prepared for the consequences.
