APC lucky to have Tinubu as Presidential candidate, he’ll win, says Buhari

By Samuel Ogunsona

President Mohammadu Buhari has said that his party, All Progressives Congress, APC was lucky to have former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu as its Presidential candidate.

Buhari’s position has put an end to speculations that a rift exists between him and Tinubu.

He described Tinubu as hard working and resourceful praising him for leading Lagos which he described as Nigeria’s most resourceful and visited state.

Buhari also spoke on his health, saying that he remains healthy and strong.

He spoke in a video clip interview by online media which Irohinoodua sighted.

Buhari said “We are going to win the election. Tinubu is our Presidential candidate and he is two times Governor in Lagos state. Lagos state is the most resourceful and visited state. I think the party is lucky to get him as it’s candidate and I am very happy’’

Buhari who said his administration will not allow any politician to mobilize thugs or resources to intimidate people also explained why he won’t back off on change of Naira currency.

He said, ‘’There is no going back about it. My aim is to let Nigerians believe that we respect them, Nigerians should vote for which ever party’’

‘’Nobody will be allowed to mobilize the resources and thugs to intimidate people in any constituency’’ he added.
