Afenifere youth leader shot, kidnapped in Abuja

The President of Afenifere National Youth Council, Prince Eniola Ojajuni has been kidnapped in Abuja, the Nigerian Federal Capital.

The kidnappers earlier shot him, making it easier to whisk him away.

Sources told Irohinoodua that he was shot in his buttocks before his abduction.

“We are deeply concerned about his safety and well-being, and we urge the kidnappers to release him unharmed” the National Secretary of the organisation Abiodun Aderohunmu said in a statement

He said the Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened about the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja, Nigeria.

He said the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday

According to him, the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of 100,000,000m

He said the council suspect that Prince Ojajuni may lack medical attention having sustained a bullet wound on his buttock.

“We are deeply concerned about his safety and well-being, and we urge the kidnappers to release him alive”

The council called on the Nigerian authorities to take immediate action to ensure Prince Ojajuni’s safe release.

“We also appeal to the general public to provide any information that may lead to his rescue.”

The Council, he said would continue to work tirelessly to ensure Prince Ojajuni’s safe return while advocating for the safety and security of all Nigerians
