Russia-Ukraine War: Putin assures to resume dialogue with the US under new administration
…..Says he takes Trump’s plan to end the war with Ukraine very seriously

The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, on Thursday said he is ready to resume negotiation with the United State of America (USA), under new administration.
His statement at Kazakhstan at the end of the regional security meeting signal a potential shift in US-Russia relationship if Donald Trump’s wins the US Presidential election come 5, November 2024.
Putin speaking in a news conference noted that he takes Donald Trump’s plan to end the war with Ukraine very seriously and he supports it.
“The fact that Mr Trump, as a presidential candidate, declares that he is ready and wants to stop the war in Ukraine, we take this completely seriously,” Putin said.
“I am not, of course, familiar with possible proposals for how he plans to do this. This is the key question. But I have no doubt that he means it sincerely, and we support it (the idea of ending the war).”
However, the US Presidential election would play a significant role in determining the end to Russia-Ukraine crisis as Putin’s statement could be an invitation for the US to engage in talks once a new administration takes office.
Similarly, Putin’s comments during an interview with Russian state television early this year said Russia prefer “Predictable” Biden to win the presidential race even though he strongly disagree with his administration policies.
The world keep watching closely as the US and Russia navigate their complex relationship.
The potential for Russia to resumed negotiation with US under Trump’s administration would pose significant signal on global politics and security.
