Newsbreak: Suicide bomber kills 6 at Bornu wedding ceremony

Not less than six people were on Saturday killed in a suicide attack in Bornu, the North Eastern State.

Reports told Irohinoodua that several others were also wounded when the suicide bomber attacked guests at wedding in Tashan Mararaba, Gwoza Borno State.
A young lady was said to have been responsible for the suicide after she detonated the bomb on her forcing guests to run helter skelter.

Government sources said the victims were rushed to the Government hospital while no fewer than six people were reeported dead at first instance

Experts link the attack to Boko Haram who is notorious for using suicide bombers, a savage decision that was responsible for the split in the rank of the terror group about seven years ago. The split led to the emergence of Islamic State of West Africa Province, (ISWAP)

The Borno State Commissioner of Police (CP), Yusuf Lawal, confirmed the attack.

The Commissioner said the attack was by a female.
